Choir

Our Choir group welcomes all ages to participate in the joy of singing. The Choir periodically sings at services and rehearses usually the first and third Thursday at 6:30pm. Additional practiceson other Thursday may be added. Please check the CALENDER page for exact practice times. You don’t have to be able to read music to sing in this group. Tone Chimes

Our tone chimes group welcome all ages to participate in the joy of creating pleasing music. The tone chimes play periodically at services and rehearse usually the second and four Monday at 7:00pm. Please check the CALENDER page for exact practice times. You don’t have to be able to read music to play in this group. Galt United Methodist Women

The Galt United Methodist Women meets regularly on the first Saturday of each month except July and August.  Most meetings are held at Galt United Methodist Church on 6th and C Sts. 10 a.m. through lunch brought by committee of members

All women are welcome from teenagers to venerated seniors.  The only requirement for membership is acceptance of the Purpose of United Methodist Women:

      United Methodist Women is a community of women whose purpose is:
       . to know God and to experience freedom as whole persons through Jesus Christ
       . to develop a creative, supportive fellowship and
       . to expand concepts of mission through participation the global ministries of the church.

Youth Group

Youth Group is a collaboration between Galt United Methodist Church and Lodi First United Methodist Church. The youth will be working to develop a deepening faith, community and fellowship.   This development will be done through discussions, community service, youth events and team work. The youth concentrate individually on building their relationships with God and constantly strengthening and supporting each other in preparation for the faith journey.  Meeting will be held on Sunday afternoons. Men's Group

The Men’s Group meets the third Saturday every month at 8:30am for breakfast at Gary’s Deli.

Small Groups

Small Groups play an important role here at Galt United Methodist Church. They bring people together in an informal setting and provide a unique way to study and learn many different subjects. Small groups are one of the best ways to live out your Christian faith. Small groups provide an opportunity for community, friendship, encouragement, accountability, and, of course, education and training in the faith.
